Tanzania: Northern Circuit & Zanzibar

Around 12–13 days · Arusha, Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Zanzibar

The classic northern circuit at an unhurried pace, followed by a coastal finish. Baobab country in Tarangire, several nights in the Serengeti chosen by season, a full crater day in Ngorongoro, then a short flight to the coast to end slowly.

Who it may suit: First-time safari travellers and couples who want the full northern spread plus beach time.
Accommodation level: Comfortable to premium lodges and tented camps, en-suite throughout, with a coastal hotel to finish.
Travel window: The drier months around June to October, or late January to February when the herds are often on the southern plains. Wildlife movement varies year to year.
